China: Antique Jade, brown at the outer part, white at the centre. The colors have been used very well, making the brown a lotus leaf and the white a monkey with a peach.

Antonietta Stella is an Italian operatic soprano, one of the finest Italian spinto sopranos of the 1950s and 1960s, possessing a beautiful and ample voice, and particularly associated with Verdi and Puccini roles.

Antique China Seal. Shou Shan Stone, Scholar with Fan. 1893

Old Chinese seal, Qing Dynasty, 1893. The sides of the seal depict a scholar with a fan, followed by a huge bat.

Very fine cutting of the actual seal: „ Ting Ying Jiang Yue “ – The Pavillon and the Moon are reflected in the River.




Beautiful Shou Shan stone in warm gray tones. The pale gray part well used to depict the Scholar.

The artist’s name is engraved at the side of the seal, Bai Shi.

0,7 x 0,7 x 3,35 inches, 52 gram. Very fine condition.

Antique Chinese Brush Washer and Spoon. Porcelain

Lovely old, white porcelain brush washer, actually a water dipper with spoon to add water on the ink stone for grinding the ink. It is in shape of a toad.



There is a red wax seal at the bottom, stating that it is antique. It has been certified by a Chinese authority in the 1970s.

Size; 2,5 x 1,4 x 1 inches.

China, Agate Snuff Bottle, attractive Structure.

Beautiful, Chinese Agate snuff-bottle with Jade stopper and spoon.



2,2 x 4 x 1,2 inches. 224 gram.

The snuff-bottle is app. 100 years old, the stopper has been added later

Nice structure of the stone, somehow resembling a landscape. Very fine condition.

Austrian bass Emil Scaria (1838 - 1886) made his début (1860) in Budapest as Saint-Bris (Les Huguenots). He made appearances in Dessau, Leipzig, and Dresden.





In 1863 he appeared with the Leipzig Opera; in 1864 he was working in Dresden. He was engaged by the Vienna State Opera in 1872.

From 1873 until his death Scaria was engaged at the Vienna Hofoper. While in London performing a Ring Cycle he suffered a mental breakdown. He continued to sing but in 1886 he again suffered a mental breakdown and soon after died insane.

Antique Chinese Seal of Scarce Stone. 2 Characters

Antique Chinese Siegel made of Gui Hua Shi (siliceous sinter, silicea sinter). Attractive designed seal with flower/stone motif decoration as side carving. Engraved as seal are 2 characters „overtake oneself".




Diameter: 10 mm, Height: 50 mm. Very fine condition. App. 19th century.

Seals made of siliceous sinter are scarce and expensive.

Knowels Hare signed Litho Postcard. Girl with huge Hat.

Attractive, lithographed Art Nouveau postcard, depicting a pretty girl with huge hat, entitled Eloise.




Uses as postcard in Graz in 1914. Fine condition.

John Knowles Hare was born in 1884. He was a member of the Society of Illustrators in New York. In the early 1900s he designed many magazine covers like "Sympathy", "The Saturday Evening Post" oder "The Country Gentleman".

Hare died in 1947 in Montclair, New Jersey.

Used as postcard in Austria in 1924. Fine condition.

Carl Larsson (1853 - 1919) was a Swedish artist. He is considered to be one af the most famous Swedish artists.

Antique China Seal, Qing, Bronze: Taoist Society. Scarce.

Antique Chinese seal made of bronze. It belonged to a Taoist society, who also distributed their own paintings, calligraphy and book with this seal's impression on them.



The seal is from the Qing-Dynasty, app. 2-300 years old. There probably was a kind of handle at the upper part to make the printing easier.

2 x 2 inches. Scarce seal with historical value.

Emile Sauret Card de Visite. French Composer.

Émile Sauret (22 May 1852, Dun-le-Roi, France - 12 February 1920, London) was a French violinist and composer. Sauret wrote over 100 violin pieces, including a famous cadenza for the first movement of Niccolò Paganini's First Violin Concerto and the "Gradus ad Parnassum" (1894).

He began European tours at the age of eight. Sauret made his American debut in 1872. Liszt performed sonatas with him. In 1873, Sauret married Teresa Carreño (1853-1917), the Venezuelan pianist and composer.

Olga Wisinger-Florian. Carte de Visite from 1868 with dedication to the artist Friedricke Lucca and signature at the reverse, signed on Julv 11, 1868 in Franzensbad.

Minor aging, very scarce.



The Autograph comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Olga Wisinger-Florian (1844 - 1926) was an Austrian impressionist painter, mainly of landscapes and flower still lifes. She was a notable representative of Austrian Mood Impressionism.

From 1881 she regularly showed paintings at the annual exhibitions mounted at the artist's house and later often showed at Vienna Secession exhibitions.

Work she showed at the Paris and Chicago international exhibitions earned her worldwide acclaim and she awarded numerous distinctions and prizes.

Her late work is notable for a lurid palette, with discernible overtones of Expressionism. With landscape and flower pictures that were already Expressionist in palette by the 1890s, she was years ahead of her time.

The front side is in fine condition, at the reverse are paper remnants from an album and the postcard with the goddess has a band. Unused.
