1898: Decorative, antique chromolithograph, depicting 35 different kinds creatures in an aquarium such as lobsters, crabs, ray fish, sea cucumber, shells and the like.

Size: 12 x 9,5 inches, vertical center-fold, fine condition. Lively, fresh colors. Broader margins than on screen. The lithograph has been printed by Bibliographisches Institut Leipzig.

Litho by Meyers Germany in 1898. It looks great when framed and makes a unique gift.

Attractive leisure seal from 1921 (or 1961), marbled brown stone, side engraving with details to seal carver and date.

As actual seal 6 characters engraved: 月照碧梧桐影 yue zhao bi wu-tong ying – the moon is casting a faint-green shadow over the Wu-tong tree.

27 x 26 x 43 mm, fine condition.

Attractive, old Chinese leisure seal. (hard, green stone, probably Jadeite). Foo-lion as handle.

4 characters as actual seal: ren xi zi xi 任侠自喜 (happy that a hero has found the right post). Side inscription with details. 30 x 20 x 50 mm, 68 gram, fine condition.

Side engraving with details of the seal carver 己卯秋月篆三桥居士.

Antique Chinese Metal Pipe

Antique Chinese embossed Metal Pipe Decorative, antique Chinese water-pipe with a hand-embossed body with dragon motif at one and phoenix motif at the other side. It is from late 19th/early 20th century. Complete, with all implements including brush. Complete sets are harder to find. The lid, when opened, is furbished so it works like a mirror. China, end of Qing/beginning on Republic Period: Well carved leisure seal with a Foo-Lion as handle.

Engraved are 4 characters: zi qiu duo shou ( 自求多寿 ) Striving for longevity for myself.

The lion and the characters are very professionally carved. 13 x 13 x 41 mm. Fine condition.

China 1901 / 02: Authentic photo from the time of the Boxer Upraise.

This photo has been made by an Austrian marine who served in China at that time. The photo shows a Chinese lady selling pots and other small stuff. Destroyed houses in the back.

Size is 4,5 “ x 3 “ (12 x 9,5 cm ). Thin photo paper, fine condition.
